A guide for purchasing the game
If you have trouble going through the transaction process - here's a guide that will hopefully help you to complete it. A few words before we start: in case you don't know our payment processor "avpay.de" be assured that it is completely legitimate and all payments are made over secure protocols. Even if this guide doesn't help you/something goes wrong you can always send us an e-mail and we'll work it out. Let's start, shall we?
First of all, visit the buy page and make your choice between the "Buccaneer" and the "Captain" Edition of the game and click the corresponding pre-order button (one of the two treasure chests) to begin the transaction process:1. A pop-up window by our payment processor "avpay.de" will appear. The product name and attached price tag is displayed here. You can choose between different payment options. Pick your prefered method and click "continue to step 2".
2. You will be taken to a window that asks you to enter your billing information. Please fill out all required fields and be aware that the e-mail address you enter here will be the one the link for the files will be sent to.
3. The third step varies depending on the payment method you selected. If you selected for example PayPal you will need to log-in with your PayPal account details here to complete the transaction.
Would you like to use your credit card for payment but you don't have a PayPal account? No problem. Select PayPal as your payment method and then choose 'Pay with your credit card as a PayPal guest'. No sign-up required.
4. You've completed the transaction succesfully. The only thing missing is an account in the Exit Strategy Entertainment database. Enter an e-mail address and password. You will use these details to log into Annha's ship navigation system in the game.
5. After creating your account you're being redirect to the page where you can download the files. For customers of the Captain Edition: upon completion the official soundtrack will be shared on this page as well.
IMPORTANT: at this point an e-mail has been sent to you by avpay.de which contains the link to this page, so you can access the page and your files at a later stage. Check your junk mail folder in case you can't find it! The mail's contents should look like this:
